My sister’s boyfriend has what we call a moset, which is another word for a man’s closet. There is absolutely no way Drew would let me do this, but I would love to wallpaper his moset in this chevron, zebra-like wall covering. Then we could customize his storage with some modern free floating shelves in a dark, mossy painted finish or maybe a sandblasted wood. Complete the room with a somewhat industrial caged ceiling fixture with Einstein light bulbs and now you’ve got more than a moset, you’ve got a man’s closet.

I can see this beautiful Ikat bedcover folded at the end of a bed in a room painted that same midnight blue hue. The upholstered headboard should be a simple design covered in a natural linen. Then maybe add a rouge throw pillow into the mix to pull out the burst of color in the Ikat design. Finish it up with some crisp, tailored sheets, and you have an eclectic, worldly bedroom retreat.

The Lisbon Chair from Palecek is a fresh interpretation of a classic occasional chair. The hand carvings in the legs and the oversized nailheads hint of an old world charm, while the generous proportions as well as the bold color bring this piece of furniture back into the 21st century. I love the curvey legs, too. It’s almost like those front legs are in heels.

Attach this gorgeous Chanel brooch to a long gold necklace and wear it over an ivory chiffon blouse at your next cocktail party. The design of this broach is very similar to the Eternity symbol of the Gemini astrological sign. As a fellow twin, this brooch is calling my name! Diamonds really are a girl’s best friend.
How to bring this into the home? Embroider this design repeatedly on a pillow and you’ve bejeweled your room at a fraction of the cost, while also bringing texture and intrigue.
